Description:
Meet Journey! If you're looking for a young dog who already has all his house manners in check, then Journey is the boy for you! He was in a home for almost a year so he is fully potty trained, knows his basics such as 'Sit', 'Stay', 'Wait', 'Come', and 'Go in Crate'! Not only is Journey very smart and curious, he is well socialized! He loves people of all ages and would likely make a great family dog! He also gets along with other dogs and may do well with a female canine companion or two to keep him busy. Journey also grew up around some large livestock and may enjoy going to a ranch home as well! Journey has had some experience with cats and may do well with the right one but he has shown some desire to chase them down. With a little more consistent work he may do well but he may prefer a home without small animals! Call the Ranch to come meet this handsome boy today! Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian. Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All puppies are also microchipped and registered with 24PetWatch. We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds) by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required), and a portion of the cost will be refunded. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated. The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies ) APPLY NOW
