Raised on a ranch, Finley has grown up around livestock, dogs, and cats, and he’s always gentle and friendly with everyone he meets—including children. His ranch upbringing has made him well-socialized and confident, a true all-around companion for families of all kinds. Finley is also well-trained and house-ready. He walks nicely on a leash, knows basic commands, and is both crate-trained and house-trained. He loves learning new tricks and thrives on attention and positive reinforcement from his humans. Whether it’s a game of fetch, exploring the outdoors, or a relaxing nap by your side, Finley is eager to be part of your everyday life. This playful and loving boy is looking for a family who can match his energy, give him love and guidance, and enjoy all the fun, companionship, and loyalty he has to offer. Here's what Finley's foster mom has to say about him: Finley's foster experience has been pleasant for everyone. He shares a house with four other dogs of different ages and one old cat. He is affectionate and well behaved especially for a year old puppy. He has a 3 year old German shepherd to play chase with but they both come when called and appreciate a cookie reward. Finley also enjoys pacing his foster mom on a bike. After his busy day he sleeps through the night with no issues and is a pro with the dog door for his outside business. Finley has picked up a few tricks since coming to the Rescue Ranch. He does Sit, Down, Spin, and doesn't rush the door or gate. He is easy to teach and always cheerful and attentive.
