Description:

Meet Captain – Smart, Loyal, and Ready to Steal Your Heart! Looking for a dog who might just be the smartest one in your circle? Meet Captain — an incredibly loyal and affectionate boy who’s eager to find his forever home. Captain came to us as a stray puppy, wandering all alone, before being adopted into a family. Though he was returned through no fault of his own, he’s grown up around kids and would absolutely thrive with some two-legged playmates to romp and have fun with! He already knows his basics like “Sit” and walks nicely on a leash. With some one-on-one attention, Captain could quickly master obedience or even train as a service dog — he’s that clever and eager to learn! Captain is gentle and affectionate with his people and loves to lean in for cuddles, showing his sweet, loving nature. He’s very well desensitized to being handled all over, making grooming and vet visits a breeze. He also rides well in the car, enjoying the adventure alongside his humans. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be happiest in a home where he has some canine companions to keep him company and share in the fun. Does this handsome, smart boy sound like the perfect addition to your family? Call the Ranch today to meet Captain — your new best friend could be waiting! Read Captain's Dog of the Week post here: https://rrdog.org/dw/meet-captain/ Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog.
