Shepherd / Mixed (Medium Coat)
Description:
Meet Artemis! Breed: Mixed breed Age: Young adult Size: Medium Personality: Playful, attentive, eager-to-please, smart Good with: Other dogs, people Training: Knows basic commands like 'Sit', walks well on a leash Ideal home: Active, ready to continue training, and provide mental stimulation Artemis is the kind of dog that’s hard to ignore – not only does he have the most adorable upturned nose, but he’s also got a heart of gold! He’s a playful, curious young guy who loves attention from his people and is always up for some fun with his doggy pals. He spent part of his life in a foster home with multiple dogs, so he’s social, respectful, and knows how to keep the play friendly. Artemis is a fast learner with a love for adventure. He already knows how to ‘Sit’ and walks nicely on a leash, but with his eager-to-please attitude, he’s ready to learn more tricks and have some fun along the way! He’d thrive in an active home that enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s a hike, a playdate, or a nice long walk. Artemis is ready to show you just how sweet and clever he can be, with a little bit of training and all the love you can give! Call the Ranch to meet Artemis today! Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian. Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with 911PetChip . We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds) by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required), and a portion of the cost will be refunded. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated. The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies ) APPLY NOW
