Melo simply grabs your heart. he is stunningly beautiful and has such soulful eyes. he seems to understand you and make a connection. He comes from a very tough childhood (closed in a dark storage unit in the back yard among other things) but with love and attention he is coming around. He plays like crazy with his friends at the foster's home ( a small young female) and is now all vetted and has begun to enjoy life. He's only about 16-18 months old, weighs about 75 pounds and holds it well. Likes to nuzzle once he knows you, does fairly well on leash and rides well in the car. A plus is he house trained and very polite. You just have to meet this dog to understand how very special he is inside and out.
