Meet Elphaba (Elphie)! Elphie is a young Siberian Husky pup with a stunning, soft coat and a strong personality to match. Rescued as a terrified puppy from the Santa Rosa shelter, she has grown into a confident, playful, and outgoing girl. Born around July 2024, Elphie is now coming into her true husky nature. She is an alpha female and would do best with a passive male companion dog or as the only dog in the home. She plays well with all dogs but prefers to be in charge when living with another pup. Like a typical husky, she loves rough play, so she's not suited for homes with small dogs. Here’s what makes Elphie special: • Potty trained and dog door trained • Sleeps quietly in her crate all night or can free range the house and be trusted • Not food aggressive and shares toys well • Loves exploring the backyard • Still has some puppy mouthiness, so continued training is needed • Good with kids who understand how to respect a dogs space Elphie is looking for an experienced home that will continue her training and give her the structure she thrives on.
