I'm in need of a new home as I wasn't the right fit for the elderly couple who had me.I'm very active and I love to play with other dogs. If you have a fur baby in the home already, please be sure he/she loves to play too. I went to a home with another dog for a few days and all I wanted to do was play. I was too much for that dog and he ended up hiding in the backyard to avoid me. Another favorite past time of mine is to sit in someone's lap or snuggle up next to you; I love attention. I feel safe and secure sleeping in a crate. I'd be great to take on road trips as I enjoy car rides. I was excited to meet children when out on a walk; I let them pet me and I gave them kisses. I'm good with other dogs, but I do not know if I like cats.Although I'm ok with males outside of the home, I prefer my person to be female in the home. I tend to be leery of males who approach me in the home when I'm sitting in my person's lap. I will growl and show my teeth as a warning. I can also be a bit nippy when I want food or attention. I'll need someone willing to work with me to modify these behaviors.I am very eager to please and would love to find a home that will give me lots of love and attention. Could that be you?
