We've recently learned that she has a condition called a PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosus) that will require surgical repair in a couple of months. PDA requires that Maeve have corrective surgery, which will take place in a couple of months, probably in June, once she's grown a little more. Maeve won't be adopted until she's had the required surgery, which will be funded by Camp Cocker. Interested adopters in the Los Angeles area should consider a foster-to-adopt for Maeve in the meantime, with her adoption becoming finalized once she's recovered. We rescued her on 2/11/24, and one week later she gave birth to her puppies! As of April 1st, at 6 weeks of age, Maeve weighed 4.3 pounds. Maeve is being fostered in the Los Angeles area.
