Named after the flower that symbolizes hope and resilience, this beautiful tripod German Shepherd mix has overcome a rough start thanks to her amazing foster family.Despite missing a leg, Poppy doesn’t let anything slow her down. She’s loyal to the core—you’ll find her happily by your side whether you’re cooking dinner or curled up on the couch. She’s fully crate trained and potty trained, making her an easy addition to a loving home.Poppy is incredibly sweet and calming to be around, especially with kids. She’s lived with older children and done well around younger ones too. While she’d do fine as a solo dog, she truly thrives in a home with other dogs, enjoying the companionship and play.She’s not particularly food-motivated, but she’s smart and eager to please—she knows how to sit, and will “speak” when asked if she wants her foooood! Mealtime is her favorite part of the day, and she’ll trot straight to her crate without being asked.Poppy doesn’t jump on people, but she’ll happily hop onto the couch for some snuggles.
