Meet Spaghettios, a wiggly, noodley dog with added spices and spunk. Spaghettios is a 7 month-old Chihuahua Mix, with adorable tan spots along her ears, face, and body. Spaghettios, despite her small size, has a huge personality. She is looking for an adopter with the experience to channel her energy towards something fun, like long walks, hikes, games of fetch, or flirtpole, or another playful canine companion in the home. She is far from a lap-dog. Any children and resident dogs in the home should meet Spaghettios prior to adoption.The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation is now offering âPawsitivity Bucksâ with every dog adoption. This $200 training voucher is a way for newly adopted canines and their guardians to connect with local positive reinforcement based behavior consultants and get their relationship started off on the right paw!Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
