Male Dog, Siberian Husky

Siberian Husky / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

Moon is an adorable mixed breed puppy with striking blue eyes! He's a social butterfly who is looking for a guardian to be his best friend. Moon recently hung out in a foster home with a couple, their resident dogs and kitties. They report that Moon is a fun dog who is house trained and crate trained. He sleeps like a baby through the night in his crate. This is probably helped by the fact that he is running around and playing with the resident dogs in the foster home as well as getting daily mental and physical stimulation. Moon is coexisting nicely with dog-savvy kitties, which is pretty impressive for a curious puppy! He enjoys soft toys, chewies and spending time with his people. He previously enjoyed playing with other dogs he has met, lived with two kitties, and learned “sit”, “stay” and “come”. If you are looking for a spunky puppy companion with lots of energy but also pretty nice manners – take a look at this beaming Moon! This animal’s adoption fee is sponsored by the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation thanks to “Leave No One Behind fund” – a fund that draws adopter’s eyes towards animals who have been in the Shelter’s care a little longer than average waiting for the right adopter to call their best friend. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
