Misty is looking for an active adopter with another similarly sized dog (50 lbs or so) who could be her new BFF. Misty has engaged in play at the Shelter with another dog (Indy, female âshepskyâ). She has seemed to enjoy playing chase and some light wrestling. Misty brings a lot of skills to her next home such as being house trained, riding nicely in the car and knows âsitâ, âdownâ, shakeâ and âtouchâ. At this time, Misty would thrive in a home environment where people are around more often than not. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
