Male Dog, Siberian Husky

Siberian Husky (Medium Coat)

Description:

Meet Max, the black and white husky boy! Max is bursting at the seams with love and energy to channel into his next home. His favorite activities in his previous home were going for runs and/or walks. He lived indoors previously and would let his guardians know when he had to go out and potty (good boy, Max!). Max has experience coexisting nicely with kids ages 2 to 4 years old and loves playing with squeaky toys. At the Shelter, Max is increasing his social circle with other dogs through group walks and play dates. Max is well matched with dogs who are ready to rumble as he enjoys a game of chase and wrestling. If you are looking for a running buddy (or a dog to inspire you to increase your step count), come meet Max today! This animal’s adoption fee is sponsored by the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation thanks to “Leave No One Behind fund” – a fund that draws adopter’s eyes towards animals who have been in the Shelter’s care a little longer than average waiting for the right adopter to call their best friend. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
