Meet Lucky the 4 year old poodle with a love of people and food. Lucky loves to go for strolls around the neighborhood and enjoys a game of fetch. Lucky would prefer to be an only dog in the house he's met other dogs here at the shelter but he let us know that he's a people dog. He is sweet and affectionate with his owners and strangers alike. He just needs a warm lap and a yummy treat and he'll be your best friend till the end.Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
