Description:
Meet Linda, the staffie mom. Linda came into the Shelter after her previous guardian was unable to continue caring for her. She has been in a foster home for the past few weeks raising her puppies (who will also be up for adoption shortly) Her foster reports: âLinda is the best mama. She loves everyone (except cats and squirrels). She is house trained, loves going on walks, cuddles and hanging out with her friends!â Linda has made dog friends at the Shelter and has previously lived with dogs. Any resident dogs are recommended to meet prior to adoption. Linda would thrive in a home free of felines and small animals as there has been observed to be prey drive in her foster care home. If you are looking for a little staffie with a big heart, come to the Shelter to chat more with staff about Linda! Linda is available for preadoption - come meet her, fall in love and take her home after her spay surgery!Linda's adoption fee has been sponsored by a Good Samaritan! The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation is now offering âPawsitivity Bucksâ with every dog adoption. This $200 training voucher is a way for newly adopted canines and their guardians to connect with local positive reinforcement based behavior consultants and get their relationship started off on the right paw! Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
