Description:

Meet Kai, 6 year old male husky. He has lived with adults and children. He lived with a female husky in his previous home and enjoyed playing with her. He knows “sit”, “down” and “mano” (aka paw). When riding in the car, Kai enjoys sticking his tongue out the window. In the Shelter, Kai has enjoyed going for walks and sniffing around in new environments. In his foster home, Kai has enjoyed playing with toys, cuddling under blankets, and spending time with people of all ages, including children. He also demonstrated that he is house-trained. Kai's adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to a generous donor!Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
