Description:
Meet Groot, the handsome energetic mixed breed of a pup. We are guessing that he is a cattle dog mixed with a Shepherd but that is simply a guess. Groot loves playing fetch and going out for walking adventures with volunteers. His dog skills are still a work in progress so any resident dogs in the home are recommended to be dog savvy and should do a meet and greet prior to adoption. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
