Female Dog, Siberian Husky

Siberian Husky / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

Meet Curie – the adolescent white “Shep-sky” (Shepherd mixed with a Husky) looking to be someone’s adventure buddy! Curie is a spirited, energetic gal who has been quite a goofball since her arrival at the Shelter – eager and excited to come out of her kennel, leaning in for TLC and enjoying romping around with similarly aged and sized dogs. Curie would thrive as someone’s adventure buddy to explore trails, beaches and all that the area has to offer. With daily mental and physical stimulation (and provided a canine companion to play with in her next home), we anticipate Curie will be a great sidekick. Curie has a history of being crate trained and house trained in her previous home. Curie's adoption fee is sponsored by the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation thanks to “Leave No One Behind fund” – a fund that draws adopter’s eyes towards animals who have been in the Shelter’s care a little longer than average waiting for the right adopter to call their best friend. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
