Meet Choco! Social and sweet with people and experienced living with kids, Choco can be exuberant in play and when greeting people (jumping up on people to say hi). Choco can be a bit of a bulldozer with his rough and tumble play with other dogs, so adopters may need to manage his interactions with other dogs somewhat, especially while getting to know him better, and not be in rush to take him to off-leash areas like dog parks and beaches. Choco lived almost exclusively outdoors in his former home so some patience and training will be needed to help him transition to indoor living. Tall, dark and handsome Choco will enjoy above average mental and physical stimulation with toys, training and plenty of adventuring in his next home.Big Dogs Rule, so dogs over 40 lbs have 1/2 the regular adoption fee through the end of April!
