Just look at this STUNNING boy! Spike is an 8-month-old, 60-pound German Shepherd who somehow found himself at the Santa Barbara shelter as a stray. Sadly, no one came looking for him, and now this gorgeous puppy is waiting for someone to see what an incredible dog he can become.Spike is dog-friendly and has done well meeting dogs of all sizes. He can be a little insecure at first, so heâll do best with someone who understands that confidence takes time, patience, and positive experiences. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality starts to shine.He has also had very positive interactions with kids and seems to genuinely enjoy people. As for cats? Spike would prefer to keep those little creatures out of his home, thank you very much. A kitty-free household would be best.Spike is still just a puppy. He has so much growing, learning, and living ahead of him. .Heâs stunning on the outside, but I have a feeling his very best qualities are the ones youâll discover once he finally gets out of the shelter and into a home.
