01/30/26 16:06 MHAstro is a curious, food-motivated pup who enjoys exploring his surroundings and engaging with his environment. He walks mostly well on leash, with just a bit of pulling, and knows basic cues like sit, down, and paw. Astro allows all handling and petting, though he doesn’t actively seek affection—he’s more interested in what’s happening around him.When it comes to other dogs, Astro tends to be more of a “follower” during introductions. He can become overstimulated in confined or high-energy spaces (like exiting his kennel) and has shown reactivity toward reactive male dogs in those situations. Outdoors, however, he does much better: he shows calm interest in other dogs, does not vocalize, and is easily redirected. He’s also not reactive when meeting dogs through a fence.Astro enjoys playtime and will happily chase tennis balls—he’s great at catching them, even if he’s not quite sold on bringing them back yet. Overall, he’d thrive with an adopter who can provide calm, structured introductions, continued positive reinforcement, and opportunities to explore and play.
