Male Dog, Chihuahua
Chihuahua / Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Puppy Chulo found himself at the shelter when his person passed away, luckily he had the company of his canine brother to cuddle with. He is about 4.5 years old and 17 pounds. Puppy Chulo is very friendly with people, other dogs, cats and kids. He has a toddler foster sister that sometimes becomes too much for him, but he just go to his safe place, his crate, where she knows she has to leave him alone. He loves to run and play with his brother or other dogs, but also loves to sit in a lap, or to spend time just laying in the sun. He is a barker, but listens when told to stop. He is potty trained and leashed trained. Chulo can be a picky eater. He loves car rides, trips to the pet store, meeting people, camping trips, participating in dog races, in fact - you name it and he is game to try it out. Puppy Chulo will provide his family with tons of entertainment. If Chulo is not adopted with his brother, we think he could do OK as an only dog if not left alone too often, and if he gets regular visits to the dog park. Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for Puppy Chulo is $300. If you are interested in adopting Puppy Chulo , please complete our online adoption application at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process/ . One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, confined to the SF Bay Area. See our other available dogs at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/available-dogs/ Puppy Chulo is being fostered in Rohnert Park.
