Description:
Beanie is 17 pounds and about 2 years old. Beanie came to us with a litter of 7 puppies. Beanie has a very sweet disposition, but can be hand shy and skittish. She loves to cuddle when she can come to you on her own terms which may take a few weeks in a new home. Everyday she will do better and better; luckily Beanie is very food motivated, so treats from new people are always welcome. Beanie loves playing with another dogs and is fine with dogs of all sizes. She needs another dog in her adoptive home and would be a perfect fit for someone looking for a small dog playmate/cuddle buddy for a bigger dog, or really any dog. Beanie would not be suitable for a home with young children. Beanie is housetrained and uses a dog door. She would do best in a home with a yard or patio. She does well on her walks and looks forward to them. She has good leash manners. Beanie enjoys looking out the window on car rides, so maybe she's be a perfect road-trip buddy. The person that gives Beanie the time to feel safe and loved, will have a wonderful little doggie companion! Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption.
