Description:
Best qualities: Zeus is amazing out and about. He is great on leash and loves walks, hiking, and trips to Home Depot and breweries. He has never met a person or dog he doesn't want to be best friends with. He is also incredibly handsome! Most unique trait: His big, goofy clown-shoe feet and inability to control his long limbs. Zeus is just a goofball who happens to be good-looking. Other dogs: Zeus is a VERY friendly, playful, and active boy. He can be a bit...much. He would do best with a dog with similar energy or an experienced owner who is willing to keep him on leash and help him calm his crazy Zeus energy. He is great around other dogs when out of the house though. Kids: Zeus is not around kids in his foster home and hasn't been tested with kids. He is an incredibly friendly boy but he does play bite and jump. He would probably do best with older kids, or an experienced owner who can supervise. In the house: Zeus is crate trained, housebroken, and OK with baths. He doesn't love the crate - he just wants to be with his humans! - but he tolerates it with no problems. He does need a human who will work with him on his house manners. He certainly didn't learn manners in the shelter! Once he gets his energy out he is happy to cuddle on the couch with his people. Out and about: Zeus is a social butterfly. He greets humans with a nice sit so that you can give him all the pets. He's not reactive to dogs and can be easily redirected if he gets excited. Zeus really loves being outside, smelling the smells, seeing the sights, and getting attention! Dietary/medical requirements: None. Seems to have a sensitive stomach/skin but does well on Costco lamb & rice dry food. What foster mom/dad wants you to know: Zeus is my little extrovert. He is a great companion and loves being near me, but also having a job to do, even if it's just watch dog duty at the front door while I work. He's also OK if you have to go to work, though.
