Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Trixie!!! Trixie, like many dogs who find their way in to the county shelter, was quickly listed for euthanasia when she came down with kennel cough. Her future was slim as no other rescue would step in to help her; that was until we stepped up and pulled her to safety. How could we say no to this cute pup? This fun, energetic girl is about a year old, 55lb lab mix, who still very much has a personality of a puppy: spunky, lovable, and a little bit mouthy - nothing that a little bit of consistent training can’t fix. She loves her daily walks, playing fetch, and playing with toys. She’s dog friendly, people friendly, and would even be a great addition to a family with older, considerate kids who love going on adventures!
