He is very energetic and loves to go on walks. He is working on leash manners - he barks and pulls when he sees other dogs. He does, however, get along great with other dogs when properly introduced at home and he is living with other dachshunds in his foster home. He is very treat motivated so he is a fast learner. Prior to rescue he was left outside so his house training is a work in progress, and he is about 90% there. He is now crate trained but prefers to sleep in a dog bed or with his humans. Trevor is a wonderful companion dog and very affectionate. He loves to sit on your lap and lounge with you wherever you go. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
