Labrador Retriever / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Piper! Piper is a one-year-old, 34-pound Lab mix with a personality as unique as her adorable pug-like tail and the little snort she makes when she’s running around having fun. This sweet girl came into Labradors and Friends Rescue with an abscess on her neck, which has since fully healed — and now she’s ready for her next chapter! Piper is dog-friendly and enjoys spending time with people, though she can be a bit nervous at first and appreciates a proper introduction. Her biggest quirk? She can be reactive to people moving quickly — joggers, bikers, skateboarders, you name it. She’s been working hard on her training and making great progress with redirection and treats. When she’s not busy being a good student, Piper loves running crazily along the beach, wading in the water, and sniffing out every empty seashell she can find. She’s an affectionate, smart, and adventurous girl who would love a family willing to continue her socialization and help her build confidence. Most of all, she’s ready for a lifetime of love and outdoor adventures — because she truly deserves it! If you’re interested in adopting Piper, please fill out an application at www.labradorsandfriends.org . Piper is located in Southern California.
