Description:

Forever Home Wanted: Meet Mistletoe! Mistletoe is a seven-week-old puppy who got an unlucky start when she was brought to the shelter with a case of puppy strangles. Mistletoe went straight from the shelter to an animal hospital where they started treatment for her condition. When strangles is treated early, the recovery is pretty fast and remarkable. She's doing amazing, so full of life, love and your typical puppy energy. Puppy strangles is an autoimmune skin condition that typically affects puppies between three weeks and four months of age. It is not contagious to humans or other animals, and with proper medical care, puppies can go on to live happy, healthy, normal lives. Mistletoe was sprung from the hospital and is now in a foster home where she can continue to thrive. If you’re interested in meeting this sweet little nugget, please fill out an application at labradorsandfriends.org Mistletoe is located in Southern California.
