Female Dog, Chihuahua

Chihuahua / Mixed (Long Coat)

Description:

ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet Lulu! She is a 16 lb, one year old, cute-as-could-be, chihuahua mix. She loves to zoomie with her humans and take naps by the window. She is fully potty trained, loves to be outside, chew on bones, and greatly enjoys pup cups! Lulu, however, has lived a difficult life. Although she is sweet with those she is familiar with, she struggles with her reactiveness to new dogs and people (especially men). Once she is familiar however, she loves to play and snuggle. She closely befriended her temporary roommate, a 5 year-old male Doberman, with time and gentle exposure. Lulu does have medium levels of separation anxiety and whines when first left, but can be trusted to stay out of trouble when left alone. Lulu may need some time to acclimate, but she’s a sweet dog with plenty of love to give! She is house/ potty trained, spayed, microchipped, and fully updated on her vaccines. Can you give her the great life she deserves? Her adoption gee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
