Description:

Forever Home Wanted: Meet Lacey In the Beginning…Babs Fry of 'A Way Home for Dogs' reached out to our rescue after she was able to save Lacey. Apparently, Lacey was found and assumed as a stray, but as it turns out... her owners simply kicked her off their property. We have worked with Babs Fry over the years and love to team up and share resources, so we secured a foster. Lacey came in morbidly obese and clearly had not been well-taken care of over the course of her life. Please check out Lacey's video. She is now experiencing a life with doggie siblings and a wonderful foster family. Lacey will need a little time to warm up, but once she does she is a love. Lacey must have another companion dog that is playful. No kids under 10. Loves to go on long walks and would be an excellent hiking partner (Lacey currently has a dedicated volunteer that walks her everyday). Lacey is thriving in her routine now that she has a solid one. Loves to carry her monkey stuffed animal around. She loves the beach but has to be on lead. Car rides are her favorite thing, she hops right in. Crate trained, goes right in on command. Loves to be at coffee shops and breweries and urban settings. She will flop for a good belly rub. Lacey currently takes medication for anxiety (and most likely the rest of her life due to her past).
