Description:

Forever home wanted, meet Jupiter. It's hard to know where to begin with a dog like Jupiter. While we never want to dwell on their past but rather focus on their future and 2nd chance, his story needs to be told. We will never understand how anyone can inflict pain on an innocent creature. Jupiter was picked up and brought into the Riverside shelter after being found with severe injuries. Not only did he appear abused, very emaciated, but he was also shot and possibly hit by a car. Even though Jupiter was in extreme pain, he remained calm and easy to handle. The injuries to his rear leg were so severe, there was no way to save it and it required an amputation. Jupiter is recovering in a foster home, getting lots of love and nutrition while he learns to navigate this new life. His foster says he's doing well, and he seems to be a loving boy. Jupiter is pretty new to the rescue so we are still getting to know him. As he continues to heal and blossom, we'll update his bio. If you are interested in meeting Jupiter, please fill out an application at labradorsandfriends.org. Jupiter is located in Southern California.
