Irvin is a 1-year-old pug mix with the sweetest little heart—you just have to give him time to show it. We rescued him from the shelter along with his companion, Nile. While the shelter called them brothers, our veterinary team thinks it’s more of a father-son relationship. Right now, Irvin is a shy boy who prefers to tuck himself away from the world. But if you gently scoop him up and place him in your lap, he’ll quietly stay there, soaking up the safety and warmth. He’s not ready to bound into the spotlight just yet—he needs a patient, loving family who can help him feel safe enough to let his true personality shine. With time, kindness, and gentle encouragement, Irvin will blossom into the loyal and loving friend he’s meant to be.
