Forever Home Wanted: Meet Dexter! Dexter is a 2-year-old, 69-pound Lab mix who just stepped out of the shelter and into his fresh start era. He’s a big, handsome, sweet-natured boy who carries himself with a calm, gentle confidence that makes you fall for him instantly. He’s brand new to rescue, but early intel says this: Dexter is dog-friendly, people-friendly, excellent in the car, and enjoys the ride (windows down, ears gently flapping, vibes immaculate). His demeanor is mellow, kind, and calm — like the dog-world equivalent of a warm, comforting Saturday morning. Dexter is settling into his foster home where we’ll continue learning more about his personality, quirks, and favorites. Stay tuned for updates, but so far?
