Description:

ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet Chip! Chip is the sweetest, cuddliest little guy. If this 2 year old, 10 pound chihuahua mix could enter a snuggling contest, he would win. Whenever his foster mom sits down on the couch he wags his tail sooo fast and runs with impressive speed to sit on her lap. There is really no place he would rather be than next to (or on top of) his favorite person. He definitely has a curious, playful, and more energetic side but he mostly just wants to cuddle and take naps. Chip is house trained. He is a little fearful of the outdoors but that's because he just isn't familiar with it! Each day he is getting more and more confident and excited about taking walks and seeing new things. Chip is good with other small dogs but will sometimes bark at them – we think that is just him showing the classic chihuahua characteristic of being protective of his person. Chip loves being with his human and will tend to bark when left alone, but stops after a bit of time. He would make such a perfect companion for someone who wants a tiny snuggler! He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
