Male Dog, Labrador Retriever

Labrador Retriever / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

Foster or forever home wanted!!! We'd like to introduce you to Brownie. This adorable, loveable puppy found his way in and back out of the shelter system not once, but twice. This last trip to the shelter just about cost him his life and we of course were not going to let that happen! People underestimate the responsibility of raising a puppy. It doesn't really differ from raising a child. Neither are born knowing right from wrong and rely on us to teach them appropriate behavior. Brownie was obviously raised in an environment lacking structure. The end result, a very happy, jumpy, mouthy puppy that just needs to learn to control his enthusiasm! Anyone that's ever had a Labrador puppy before can totally relate to this. Brownie is not lost in all of this; he is a very smart boy and responds readily to correction. He wants to be a good boy, he wants more than anything to please, he just needs to be taught the right way. If you are interested in meeting Brownie, please head over to labradorsandfriends.org and fill out an application. Brownie is located in Southern California.
