Description:

Foster or forever home wanted, meet Bronco! Who doesn't love chocolate in any form! Bronco is a sweet and gentle boy. He was brought into the Baldwin Park shelter turned in over the counter as a stray. Bronco had no microchip, collar or ID tag. He entered the shelter on February 17th and sat there all this time, and no one came looking for him. Baffles the mind that a handsome boy like Bronco can just be discarded and not have a family looking for him. He got the best possible score on intake at the shelter which is a 1 out of 5. They noted he was friendly, wiggly, relaxed and easy to handle. Within a week of arriving, he came down with an upper respiratory infection, which is all too common in the current state of overcrowded shelters and short staff. It was a bit more challenging to resolve so he was put on another round of antibiotics. When something like this occurs, dogs find themselves at risk. Fortunately, the shelter recognized he was a good dog and reached out to us to ask if there was any way we could make room for him and get him out of the shelter. Enough said, we were able to make room for him and got him outta there on March 14th. Since Bronco is new to the rescue, we are still getting to know him. Once we learn more, we'll update his bio. If you are interested in meeting Bronco, please fill out an application at labradorsandfriends.org. Bronco is located in Southern California.
