Check Me out ! Meet Astro! This sweet boy was turned in to the shelter by his family as they lived in military housing and were about to welcome a baby. Unfortunately, the 29 Palms shelter has limited resources and little space for a dog of Astro's size. ASR stepped in and found a foster for Astro that had land and space for him to romp around on. Astro is a true gentle giant. He is friendly with people, dogs, and cats. He walks well on a leash and is working on taking commands and directions. He is treat-motivated and loves his ball. He is smart and rides well in the car. At around 3 years old, this sweet boy weighs a whomping 120 lbs. Astro has all the fantastic attributes of a Great Dane.
