Toaster and Strudel, 9 weeks old, are adorable gals with hearts as big as their puppy eyes. Dumped at a shelter at just 6 weeks old, these resilient little girls have made incredible progress in the few short weeks since joining their foster family — and now, they’re ready to find their forever homes! Every morning, these two pups spring to life as the school day begins. They start with a potty break in the yard, followed by breakfast and some very enthusiastic playtime. With scheduled walks in the yard throughout the day (mid-morning, before lunch, mid-afternoon, pre-dinner, and bedtime!), their potty and leash training is already well underway. Accidents are now rare, and they’re becoming pros at doing their business on schedule. Strudel is the confident leader of the pack. Outgoing and playful, she’s quick to grab the toys, reach for treats, and make new doggie friends. Her curiosity leads her into boxes and bags, always sniffing out her next adventure. Toaster, on the other hand, is her gentle counterpart — a sweet, snuggly girl who prefers to be close to her humans. You’ll often find her burrowed under a blanket or curled up quietly at your feet, waiting to be lifted into a cozy cuddle session. Despite their different personalities, both girls are incredibly affectionate and eager to learn. They’ve already begun responding to basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” “come,” and “inside,” and they’ve shown a remarkable ability to self-regulate and wait for cues. Whether it’s a busy household with kids, other pets, or a quieter home looking for a loyal companion, Toaster and Strudel are ready for it all. These girls have had a tough start, but they’ve blossomed into smart, loving, well-socialized puppies. If you're ready for some puppy training with a fluffy little smartie, apply to adopt Toaster or Strudel!
