Adoption Fee: $600 Meet Merlin – a 6 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix with a heart full of loyalty, a head full of curiosity, and the perfect dose of quirky charm. Weighing in at 22 pounds, Merlin may be small in stature, but his presence is magnetic—he’s one of those dogs who quietly steals the show with a tail wag and a hopeful look. Once he’s warmed up, he’ll be your devoted sidekick, following you from room to room with soft eyes and a gentle presence. He’s a classic Velcro pup—always nearby, always ready for a cuddle. Merlin is a happy, inquisitive little guy who’s always taking in the world around him. Whether he’s trotting alongside you on a walk or curling up by your feet as you work, he just wants to be part of your day. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and uses the doggy door like a pro. While he's not much of a barker, he may let out a soft whine if left alone too long—he truly thrives when his people are home more than they’re away. A quiet gentleman at heart, Merlin isn’t destructive—he’s not a chewer or a digger—and he has lovely manners around the house. His favorite hobbies include lounging in his bed, soaking up affection, and politely reminding you that your lap was made for him. He’s wonderfully cuddly, and once he feels safe, he’ll be your little shadow. Merlin gets along beautifully with other dogs and currently lives harmoniously with a few in his foster home. He also lives with a respectful young child and handles the gentle chaos of family life with grace. He’s moderately energetic—up for a solid walk or backyard zoomies, but just as content to curl up next to you for a cozy evening in. This sweet guy is looking for a calm, loving home where he can be included in daily life, given plenty of affection, and allowed to continue blossoming into the loyal, easygoing companion he’s meant to be. He doesn’t need constant activity—just your time, your love, and a soft spot on the couch.
