Description:

?? Meet Daphne – A Resilient Girl Ready for Her Happily Ever After ??Daphne is a loving, people-focused sweetheart who is ready to leave her past behind and find a safe, understanding home of her own. Despite everything she’s been through, Daphne remains affectionate, playful, and deeply devoted to her humans ???? Daphne’s StoryDaphne was originally adopted from Bradshaw Animal Shelter after it was believed she had been used as a bait dog in a dog-fighting situation. The scars on her body are thought to be from this time in her life. Because of these experiences, Daphne does not do well with Pitbull type dogs. She also does not do well with female dogs, and prefers a home where she won’t be asked to navigate stressful dog relationships.?? Dog-to-Dog HistoryDaphne previously lived harmoniously for several years with a male German Shepherd mix, whom she was described as being best friends with. She shared toys, food bowls, and space without issue. On walks, she may show mild reactivity toward certain dogs but is easily redirected.?? Why Everyone Loves Daphne•Friendly and affectionate with people and kids•Enjoys visitors and does well in social settings•Playful, loving, and people-oriented•Potty trained•Walks well on leash•With slow introductions he is Great with cats ??•No history of biting people?? The Way to Daphne’s HeartMilk Bones are her favorite treat! Due to a sensitive stomach, Daphne should not have human food and does best sticking to dog-approved treats only.?? Daphne’s Ideal HomeA calm, loving home where she can feel safe, be someone’s cherished companion, and enjoy lots of human interaction. Daphne would do best as an only dog or possibly with a calm, compatible male dog after proper introductions—no female dogs, please.Daphne has already shown incredible resilience and heart. She’s ready for a future filled with love, stability, and kindness. Could that be with you? ???
