Meet Cruz — a small, long-haired mystery mutt wrapped in black, brown, and white fabulousness. He is a terrier mix who looks like a weenie dog and an Australian Shepherd had a very stylish baby. While we can only guess Cruz’s breed, we do know he is 100% adorable.Cruz LOVES to play, snuggle like it’s his full-time job, and give kisses whether you asked for them or not. He’s basically a tiny circus performer who knows sit, down, up, roll over, and even “dance.” But fair warning: if you ask him to perform without paying him in treats, he will scold you with a bark. Cruz believes in fair wages.At night, Cruz is a sleep-through-the-night, snuggle-certified bed hog who sleeps peacefully beside you like he’s been paying rent for years. During the day, he’s all about tug-o-war and fetch with his beloved toys, which he refers to exclusively as his “babies.”He walks nicely on a leash and will proudly accompany you on strolls like the loyal sidekick he is. He also does well in public on outings, recognizing when you ask if he wants to “go for a car ride.” His favorite treats while out are pup cups, puppy patties from In-n-Out, or a lunch plate from Lazy Dog.Now, let’s talk about Cruz’s personality quirks, because no legend is without them. Cruz is vocal—not yappy, but expressive. He will let you know when he’s hungry, needs to go outside, or requires immediate admiration. He’s a bit needy, gets sad when you leave, and takes some time to self-soothe.
