Hello, I’m Maximus — a 9-year-old pit bull mix with a big heart. I’ve had a bit of a rough year as an Eaton Fire survivor and lost my home, but I’m ready for a fresh start with someone who gets me.I’m an 80-pound gentle giant — calm and sweet. I’m potty trained, never jump, and I’m super respectful when humans are eating. I'm great with all people including kids, and just want to be petted and loved. At first, I might be a little nervous, but give me some time and I’ll melt right into your lap for cuddles.I sleep through the night in my dog bed, and I’m a good boy when left home alone — no chewing or messes. I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog because I get a bit reactive around other pups. I’m a strong boy and sometimes pull on the leash while walking, so I need a confident adopter who can handle me.I love soaking up under the sun, I’m low maintenance, and all I really want is your love.
