Description:
Meet Charlie Girl! This 1.5-year-old, 60 lb Lab mix is the definition of happy-go-lucky! Full of playful puppy energy, Charlie is crate and leash trained, doing great with potty training, and loves kids (best with 5+ due to her excitement). She adores belly rubs, long walks, and doggy playtime—though she may be too much for low-energy dogs. Charlie would thrive in an active home, especially with a playful dog buddy and someone committed to continuing her basic training.Ready to meet your new adventure buddy? She loves play time with people and dogs alike and just wants someone to follow around and please. She will be an amazing dog with someone willing to be consistent with her training. I think she would LOVE to be in a home with another playful dog (her foster brother is an old grumpy man so he tolerates her, but is too grumpy to play with her). She does good with our kids (5 and 8) but her over excitement might be too much for kids younger than 5.Since she is still very much in puppy mode, she hasn't gotten the hang of keeping her playful energy in check and has been known to jump on you (out of excitement) and is mouthy during play time but never bites. She doesn't realize her size at all so she trollops and flops around a lot. She is nearly 100% potty trained but has had a couple of accidents in her kennel overnight. With consistent reinforcement and training, she will continue to blossom.
