Learn more hereTrixie is a 6-year-old, 73-pound German Shepherd mix with a gentle soul and a quietly charming presence. She’s calm, easygoing, and affectionate. She’s happiest being close to her person, politely nudging for pets or simply standing nearby with her soft, endearing gaze. On a recent field trip, Trixie truly shined. She walked beautifully on leash with zero pulling and loved long “sniffari” strolls. She was unfazed by bikes, scooters, strollers, and busy streets, and showed little interest in passing people or dogs. Even more impressive, she completely ignored small animals. Though slightly nervous at first, she grew more confident with praise and encouragement, relaxing into happy tail wags and puppy-like hops. Trixie has shown relaxed, friendly behavior with other dogs and would do well with a compatible canine companion or as a solo dog with friends.
