I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog H:11Meet Tri Tip! About Me: I'm Tri Tip, the resilient tripod Malinois with a heart of gold! I had a rough start, coming in as a stray after being hit by a car in East Oakland. But thanks to the love and care of my foster parents, I've bounced back stronger than ever. Energetic & Smart: Despite losing a leg, I'm still as energetic and intelligent as they come! I thrive on mental stimulation and love showing off my problem-solving skills. I love exploring the great outdoors and learning new tricks. Sit, down, paw—you name it, I've mastered it! Just watch out, I 'm a crate escape artist, and too much time confined makes me distressed. Affectionate & Loving: Despite my rocky start, I'm a friendly and affectionate pup through and through. I adore cuddles and will happily lay my head on your lap for endless pets and scratches. Ideal Home: I'm searching for a forever home with someone who understands my journey and can provide the love and care I deserve. An active owner who can keep up with my energy and shower me with affection would be paw-fect! While I might not suit young kids, older children might be okay. I can be mouthy when excited, so patience and training are crucial. And don't forget, I might need a little extra help with crate time.
