I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog Adoption:5Shy – Playful, Enthusiastic, and Toy-Loving Fun Shy is a 46-pound female Pit Bull Terrier mix just over 1 year old, bursting with youthful energy and playful enthusiasm. Leash manners: May pull at first with excitement but settles into a slower pace to enjoy sniffing and exploring her surroundings. Toy superstar: Absolutely loves chasing balls and happily trades one toy for another. She also adores stuffy toys-tossing them in the air and then chewing contentedly. Smart & treat-motivated: Knows sit and takes treats gently with a soft mouth, making training both fun and rewarding. Affection & energy: Enjoys pets and interaction but may be bouncy when excited—she’s full of joyful puppy enthusiasm. Family history: Previously lived with children and was reported to be playful yet gentle with them. Shy would do well with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with compatible dog friends who can match her lively spirit.
