Learn more herePoppy is a beautiful 7-year-old pittie mix, 44 pounds of love, personality, and pure joy. She was a little anxious at first, but in her foster home she has shown just how calm, affectionate, and easygoing she can be. She’s proven herself to be a devoted companion who bonds quickly once she feels safe. Her foster says most days you’ll find her chasing her ball with focus, or soaking up the sun like a professional lounger. She’s not a big barker and usually only speaks up when the situation calls for it. She has an incredibly expressive face that tells you exactly how she’s feeling, usually some mix of curiosity, affection, and “please pet me.” Around other dogs, Poppy is calm and independent. She’d be a good fit with a well-matched canine companion, or as a solo dog with occasional play dates. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, affectionate companion who’s equally happy being active or chilling by your side, this cuddle bug might be your match.
