I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog D:1If you’re looking for a dog who will make your home feel instantly warmer, Nubbins is your guy! Nubbins is the number one cuddle bug and loves being close to his people in the sweetest way. He’ll happily curl up next to you, sit in your lap, or follow you from room to room just to be nearby. It’s not an anxious or clingy “Velcro dog” vibe, it’s simply loving, calm companionship. He has been great with kids of all ages and truly lives for affection. If there are pets available, Nubbins would like all of them, please. Nubbins is also very smart and eager to engage. He listens well, has wonderful recall, and already knows commands like “paw.” He’s the kind of dog who makes training feel fun and rewarding. On walks, he’s not hyper or overactive, but he does love being your little adventure buddy. He enjoys leading the way, stopping to smell everything, and taking his time to explore the world around him. He may pull a bit on leash because he’s excited, but he’s responsive and learning quickly. He is making great progress with his potty training and will do best with a consistent routine, patience, and positive reinforcement.
