I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog I:8Haley is a 6-year-old, 42-pound mystery mix with a charming underbite, tri-colored coat, and dainty, doe-like steps. She’s gentle, curious, and has wonderful playful energy. Haley was surrendered due to loss of housing and may need a little time and consistency to settle in, but she’s already showing her sweet, affectionate side. She’s calm around other dogs, friendly in playgroups, and could do well with a well-matched pup or as your one-and-only. On a recent field trip, Haley was a star! She hopped into the car, rode quietly, and explored the trail with curiosity. She greeted people politely, ignored barking dogs and small animals, and enjoyed the fresh air. She loved to run and would enjoy an active partner. Haley already knows “sit,” appreciates gentle pets, and is slowly warming up to treats.
