I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog H:7Downtown Brown – Affectionate, Playful, and Cuddly Downtown Brown is a 10-month-old brown Husky mix weighing 53 pounds. He is eager to engage with his person and has a very sweet side that emerges once he settles in. People-oriented and eager to engage: Downtown Brown loves attention and likes to follow his person around. He’s very treat motivated, takes treats gently and often shows off his very nice sit with one hip tucked to the side. A true lapdog: Downtown Brown becomes a 100% lapdog when he settles, happily fitting his entire body on his person’s lap. Learning to settle: Downtown Brown may get excited when seeking attention but can be easily redirected with a “find it” game. Once he settles, Downtown Brown also walks nicely on leash. Playful: Downtown Brown may chase a tossed toy briefly, though he doesn’t consistently return it. At doggie playgroup, he enjoys a good game of chase with his canine friends. Downtown Brown is best with appropriately matched dogs, or as a solo dog with appropriate dog friends. .com/embed.js">
